All Saints have been dropped by their label following disastrous sales of comeback album Studio 1. The band were axed by Parlophone Records last week. "Parlophone Records and All Saints have made the mutual decision to part company," a label spokesperson revealed. "Both the label and the group are proud of Studio 1. All Saints are excited about moving forward with their career and Parlophone wishes them the best of luck." The four-piece, however, are reportedly upset about the decision. A band source was quoted in various newspapers as saying, "it got to the point where things couldn't go any further and we had to admit it was over". "There have been non-stop meetings about how best to break the news to the fans," the source told The Daily Mirror. The band, who split in 2001 and reformed last year, recently suffered the indignity of seeing "Chick Fit" fail to break into the Top 200.
