Introspective Melbourne four-piece
Art Of Fighting release Runways, their third full-length album, next week. Recorded in their hometown with engineer Steven Schram (Ground Components), frontman Ollie Browne has described the follow-up to 2004's Second Story as "open and relaxed". "When we play live the sound is very stripped back, very spacious," Browne said. "We wanted to capture that as much as possible. We wanted this album to be very direct – warm and honest, the sound of us in a room." With trips to Japan and the UK pencilled in, the band will play a quick series of shows in Australia to promote the release, bringing Melbourne rockers SubAudible Hum along for the ride.
