Pregnant pop star Lily Allen, who has put her career in music on hold, has launched her vintage clothing shop in London’s Covent Garden. Called ‘Lucy In Disguise’, the shop features vintage prom dresses and other clothing selected by Allen and her sister Sarah Mary Owen. Alongside all the vintage fashion on offer, a number of Lily's own designs will be available to buy.
The official opening of the Covent Garden store follows the debut of the Lucy In Disguise London collection at the Goodwood fashion fair in August.
Fashionistas can also have a drink at the all day vodka bar inside the store, and get styling advice from the staff. There’s also a Playstation Move corner of the store.
The “Not Fair” hitmaker told a News Of The World reporter at the launch of her new shop, "I haven't had the easiest pregnancy. But I've been very hands-on with the shop."
And she is standing by her plans to retire from music. "There's no new album. I'm not on tour. I'm a businesswoman now."
She tweeted after the launch: “Great night, thanks to everyone that came.”
