[Source: NME.com] Foo Fighters have asked fans to direct a video for a song from their new album.

The band, who have previously worked with video directors including Michel Gondry and the Malloys, have put out "a call to all aspiring filmmakers" asking them to "upload your reel and show us what you've got!"

Click to watch two videos from the band talking about the competition via Thisvideosucks. Unfortunately the competition is only available to US citizens.

The band will choose 11 directors from the entrants, with each winner getting the opportunity to create a music video for the unknown track, with each premiering on Fusemusic.com in the future.

Foo Fighters recently finished work on their new album, produced by Butch Vig.
