[Source: NME.com] White Lies have named Kings Of Leon as their role models in terms of career progression.
Singer Harry McVeigh, speaking in the new issue of NME said that he'd love for the trio to follow in the footsteps of the Followills and for the trio to become one of the biggest bands in the world.
"I've been reading a lot of things about Kings Of Leon's career path," he said. "Whether you like them or not, they were on a perfect rise to the level they were at. With each record they’ve grown in popularity, and I think that's a really comfortable way to become one of the biggest bands in the world."
He added: "We've toured with them, seen how comfortable they looked onstage and what a good show they put on. If we were to get to that level it'd be a really natural and acomplished way of doing it."
White Lies released their second album, 'Ritual', tomorrow (Friday 21st). We have an exclusive version of the album.
