In addition to their appearance at the inaugural Australian V Festival, UK pop icons Pet Shop Boys will play at least one headlining gig when they arrive in the country next month. The show will be held at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on Friday April 6, with tickets on sale Monday March 26. Neil Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe first topped the charts in the 80s with synth-based dance-pop tracks like "West End Girls", "Always On My Mind" and "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money)". Their latest studio LP, Fundamental, saw them move into techno, disco and house territory.
