Following the huge success of his 2010 tour that saw him sell out Sydney’s Manning Bar, Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club and The Espy, US singer-songwriter Joshua Radin returns to Australian shores this June to support the release of his sophomore album ‘The Rock And The Tide’.

Raised on the sounds of 1960s Motown, Stax and Beatles records, as well as singer-songwriters of the early 1970s like Paul Simon, Cat Stevens and James Taylor, Radin didn't immediately take to music. After college he moved to New York City, bought a guitar and began learning to play his favourite tunes. Soon he was writing songs of his own.  He says, “When I started writing songs, I thought, ‘This is as honest as I can be: getting onstage with my guitar and my voice and singing for people.’”

He has been likened to folk legends Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith and Simon & Garfunkel. Radin has been said to remind people of “how powerful a song can be without punching you in an angry rock’n’roll frenzy,” and his self-depreciating humour and anecdotes between songs adds a personal touch to all his performances.

Joshua's tour dates are:

Tuesday 21st June.  Enmore Theatre.  Sydney (All Ages)
Wednesday 22nd June.  The Gov. Adelaide
Thursday 23rd June.  The Forum.  Melbourne
Saturday 25th June.  The Zoo.  Brisbane
