[source: NME.com] Ian Brown has penned a song about his magician pal Dynamo. Brown met the Bradford trickster a year ago and was so impressed by his act he was inspired to write lyrics about him straight away. The pair have since become friends and Brown debuted the song, entitled "The Magic Man", at a showcase for Dynamo's Concrete Playground DVD before Christmas. Speaking about the track, Dynamo, whose real name is Steven Frayne, told The Sun: "I was properly delighted when he told me he was writing a song about me. I opened a gig for him at the Manchester Evening News Arena in front of 14,000 screaming fans."
