Heralded as one of the first true punk bands, the original line-up of Brisbane outfit
The Saints are set to reform for a one-off gig at Brisbane's Queensland Music Festival on Saturday July 14. The occasion will mark only the second time since 1978 the "I'm Stranded" rockers – including singer-songwriters Ed Kuepper and Chris Bailey – will have played together; the band reformed for one night back in 2001 when they were inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame. The Saints will take to the stage at Brisbane's Pig City concert, named after a book by local music journalist Andrew Stafford. Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday May 19.
