Melbourne rockers Magic Dirt are on the hunt for Australia's hottest new bands. In July, the Dirt will unleash mini-LP Beast and head out on the first leg of a national tour. The band hope a number of young up-and-coming acts will join them on the road. "We are really looking for the more 'f***ed up and out-there' bands," bassist Dean Turner said. "We want the bands that usually can't get a show." Bands from across the nation can send their music direct to Magic Dirt, who will listen to each entry and choose the winners.
