[Source: NME.com] Two Door Cinema Club have said that Biffy Clyro taught them "how to be in a band".
The Northern Irish trio revealed that the Scottish rockers were a shared influence during their formative years and have ended up being their biggest career inspiration.
"Biffy Clyro were the band that brought the three of us together," said frontman Alex Trimble. "We formed our first band and the first song we played together was a cover of '57' off their first record ['Blackened Sky']."
He went on to add: "We became kind of obsessed, I learnt to play every song on guitar and learnt all the words. That taught us how to be in a band, and be musicians."
Trimble also said that his dream collaboration would be a project with Daft Punk, adding: "That's been my dream for years and years and years. We've met them a few times but they're always really busy and doing something. That's my number one dream."
