INXS have revealed they'll head back into the studio to record the follow-up to 2005's Switch. According to guitarist and songwriter Tim Farriss, INXS frontman J.D. Fortune – who the band discovered via a reality TV show – has significant similarities to former lead singer Michael Hutchence. "He is so much like Michael," Farriss said. "J.D. is always leaving stuff behind and losing stuff. He's got that devil-may-care thing about possessions. He walks around with a book and he's constantly writing lyrics, just like Michael used to. It's really bizarre." Farris told Billboard magazine the group are hard at work on new material and will look to head into the studio as soon as the current tour is finished.
