Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood is showing off his softer side with an exhibition of more than 30 oil paintings and prints at the Bailly Contemporain gallery in Paris. The majority of works are portraits of his bandmates onstage, as well as other famous musos like Slash, Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix. "He is a gifted artist with his own style," gallery art director Helene Bailly said. "The Stones are not getting any younger, but Wood's art will be there long after they are gone. We have fans who show up wearing Rolling Stones T-shirts and fork out their savings to buy a 2,000 Euro (AU$3,171) print, but also art lovers who think they are making a good investment." The Stones are currently in Europe on their Bigger Bang tour.
